New Years


The largest New Years celebration in the area can only be held in Deadwood. Main Street is blocked off and the open container ordinance is lifted as thousands of people fill the streets and partake in a little tomfoolery. St. Patrick’s Day

Days of '76


For five straight years, the Days of ’76 Rodeo has been voted as the best medium-size rodeo in the nation by the Professional Rodeo and Cowboys Association, and that ain’t no bull. Kool Deadwood Nites


Kool Deadwood Nites, which has become one of the premier car shows in the region, welcomes hundreds of classic cars and thousands of people each year. At the end of August each year, classic cards from yesteryear will line the streets of Deadwood and remind us all of simpler times. Free concerts will be held on Main Street on Friday and Saturday night, as well as a classic car auction at Deadwood Gulch Convention Center. Mardi Gras


Get in the groove at the annual celebration of costumes, beads, masks and music at Deadwood’s annual Mardi Gras celebration. The New Orleans of the north does its annual Carnival festivities every February. Wild Bill Days


It is the annual celebration of one of Deadwood’s most iconic figures – Wild Bill Hickok. Each year, Deadwood kicks off the summer right with free concerts on Main Street, the Cowboy Fast Draw Championships, Wild West reenactors, a firearms auction and BBQ cook-off. Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
